Currency and payment Prices are in Brazilian reais (BRL). On this site the only accepted payment method is credit card.
What you need in order to pay Checkout runs through Mercado Pago and currently requires a Brazilian tax ID (CPF) and a Brazilian billing address. If you do not have those, the free tier remains fully available — we would rather say so here than at the payment step.
Cancelling You can cancel at any time, with no penalty. Access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
